Our Halloween display began when Chris was just 5 years old, building plywood tombstones and tomato cage monsters in the yard. Before long, he and his older brother — who lived around the corner — sparked a friendly rivalry to see who could create the scariest house on the block.
After several years of one-upping each other, they decided to join forces, merging their displays at the corner of Giles Ave in Middlesex. Eventually, the display found its permanent home here in Dunellen, where we’ve been thrilling trick-or-treaters for about the last 10 years.
What started as a childhood hobby has grown into a full-blown Halloween tradition, featuring an array of hand-built props, animatronics, and pneumatics. Each year, we add new creations and eerie effects — always aiming to make it bigger, better, and just a little bit scarier.
We love sharing our passion for Halloween with everyone who stops by and hope our display brings a smile (and maybe a scream!) to all who visit.
